Psalm 96:6 NIV

Knowing what we have in God is so important. Not just for our spiritual growth, but for the relationship we have with him. God is good all the time. His promises to us are nothing short of majestic. He is not only our father who brought us to life out of his pure love and power, but he is also our protector, our refuge, our strength and so much more.

Psalm 96:6 invites us to recognise our creator and all that he is to us. I also believe it is a call for us to give thanks for it all, and not shy away from sharing that with the world in any way we can. Our Lord is not ashamed of us. Matter of fact, his love for us runs so deep that he not only watches over every affair of our existance, but he invites us to fully tap into his splendor, majesty, strength and glory.

For me, this keeps me looking forward to seeing and experiencing more of God. The more of that I get to have the more I have to share with others about him and his kingdom. Furthermore, no matter what we may be facing in our lives, we can bank on the fact that we have everything we need in him. I think that is just awesome.
