You Were Always Meant to Be Loved Like This.

The following came from a moment I shared with one of my brothers, just an honest heart-to-heart about love, identity, and God. As I was speaking, something stirred in me. I realized this wasn’t just for him. It’s a message that applies to so many of us. So I’m sharing it here, for whoever needs it, maybe that someone is you.

Many spiritual teachers have graced this earth, each with a message and mission that impacted generations. Still living today is Jesus Christ, who saved our souls.

A Love That’s Beyond Comprehension.

He loves you. Yes, you, the one reading this. You are so deeply loved, beyond what words can fully express or minds can comprehend.

My prayer is that you would experience that kind of love. That you would come to know what it’s like to be loved by God the Father — the One who made you, who formed you in your mother’s womb, who had plans for you and prepared an inheritance for you before you even took your first breath.

“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart…” Jeremiah 1:5

An Invitation to Know the Father.

All of it — His love, His plans, His inheritance — is waiting for you to claim it by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Because He came and died so that you — and all of us — could have a direct relationship with our Father in heaven. I’m not saying our earthly fathers were or are not fathers. They are. Earthly fathers are meant to reflect the heart of God the Father on earth. They're meant to model that relationship for us. But as you know from your own story, that’s not always what we experience. Some of us had fathers who tried and fell short. Some succeeded. Some didn’t try at all, for reasons unique to them.

But God, our ultimate Father, is not like our earthly fathers. He wants to show you what it was meant to be — what it can be — if you let Him. You deserve to know that relationship for yourself, my brother, my sister, on the other side of this screen. There is nothing like it. All it takes is this:

Jesus, I accept You as my Lord and Saviour. I believe you died on the cross for me, so that the moment I say these words, every sin I’ve committed, even the ones I think are unforgivable, are now forgiven and wiped clean. That’s what your life, death, and resurrection were all about.

So that I can live free of guilt, shame, and constant struggle. So that we, my brother and sister, can have life, and have it abundantly.

“I came that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.” - John 10:10

What If You Let Him Show You?

There is no shame in believing in Jesus. In fact, it’s the ultimate power move to end all power moves that may try to come against you.... a victory over everything that’s ever tried to keep you bound. Because that’s where life is — with Him and the Holy Spirit living in your heart. I’d hate for you to discover this years from now and say, “Tariro, why didn’t you tell me sooner?”So I’m telling you now. And what you choose to do with this is up to you. But as for me, I’ve shared what was on my heart. And I’m here for you if you ever want to talk or pray or wrestle through the questions.

You Were Always Meant to Be Guided by Him.

It breaks my heart thinking about what you might be missing out on. Because, as we say in Shona, Mwari wedu, meaning our God…God Himself is a Father. A Father who is waiting for you, His child, to come home to Him — so He can raise you up into who He created you to be, and lead you to where He’s prepared for you to go. Whatever we do in life holds no true power unless God is in the midst of it.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33

The Simple Prayer That Changes Everything

And I’m not saying that everyone in the world is meant to walk closely with Him, but I am saying you are. You are one of those He wants to guide. Now you can’t say nobody told you — because someone just did. We can try to figure life out using our own knowledge and strength, but it will always be limited without the most important piece — our Father, who art in heaven. Accept Jesus. He’s the one who connects us to the Father. He sits at the right hand of God, interceding for us even now.

“Christ Jesus… is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” - Romans 8:34

And no, I’m not saying everything becomes perfect or easy once you accept Him. But it does allow God to step in and be the man of the house, simply because you’ve acknowledged your place as a child in His house and invited Him to be the Father He’s always wanted to be for you. If it feels hard, just ask Him to help you. He really will. And you don’t have to work for it.

It’s as simple as saying:

Jesus, I believe You died for me on the cross and rose again so that I may be saved. Come into my heart. I receive You as my Lord and Saviour. In Your name I pray. Amen.

That's it. That's the power of the cross.
